- Growing the Seeds of Life :

To my dearest and simply awesome EIR students,

2014 marks the 11th year that EIR was launched as a cross-disciplinary subject. EIR continues its legacy of successfully delivering quality teaching and learning experiences using social media technologies and flipped classroom activities. This will not be possible and I will not be who I am today without the amazing support of all of YOU, my dearest EIR students and alumni, who have invested quality time and effort on our fantastic EIR journey together.  As you end your EIR journey this week and begin your new journey in your respective courses of study, let’s cherish the good times we had shared by applying what we had learnt in EIR into our lives. Its never easy to bid farewell especially when we are just about to get to know one another better.

Thank you for your warm friendship and trusting me to be your teacher, coach, mentor and friend throughout our EIR journey together, even though we come from different Schools. Thank you for opening up your minds to enjoy learning and experience growth as you interact and exchange views with the industry partners and EIR Alumni over Google+Hangout and during the site visit to iExperience, despite other commitments in your life. I will miss all of YOU especially your smiles and laughter as you work on your video and research project together as a team.

As I witness your weekly perseverance and diligence to complete the Portfolio assignments, I thank God for the gifts of wonderfully good students like all of YOU and opportunity to touch the hearts and minds of so many precious young lives.
To me imparting EIR skills and knowledge through my personal stories and experiences to inspire all of YOU is like growing SEEDs of life. The EIR lessons and weekly coaching and mentoring is like watering and nurturing the seed to grow into a tree with branches, flowers, fruits and leaves. The branches are like your research team members supporting one another. Now the seed has grown into a tree which provides fruits and shade to others just like all of you who are now empowered to sustain your academic and future professional life and guide others to unravel the full meaning of their life.

Spread the good news of EIR by writing an inspirational message to the next batch of EIR students by signing the 1-minute autograph here. Stay Happy and Positive always.

Your Friend Always,
Ms Farida N.
