- A Pinch of Salt to Savour the Taste of Life :

To my dearest and always awesome EIR students,

OMG! this Oct13 semester marks the 10th year anniversary of subject Effective Internet Research. Intimately called “EIR” now and previously known as UIR, this subject and all my wonderful EIR students and alumni has always been and will always be in my mind and heart. EIR will never be standing strong today for a decade now, without the awesome support of YOU all, my dearest EIR students. Afterall, what am I without all of YOU. I am nothing and won’t a lecturer for 10 years now, without the support of all of you who have spent quality time together with me on our fabulous EIR journey.

Thank you for giving me this chance to be your friend, tutor, mentor and coach throughout your EIR journey. As I read some of your heart-warming closure reflections and metaphor, tears swelled in my eyes as I thank God for granting me the wisdom, strengths and passion to add value and touch the lives of so many precious young people like all of YOU.

To me, imparting EIR skills and knowledge through my personal stories and other motivational stories to inspire all of YOU is like adding SALT into your life. Just like the humble salt gives taste to the food you eat to nourish you physically, the EIR lessons have added that taste in your life to help nourish you emotionally and psychologically while empowering and guiding you to savour the full meaning of your life.

As you end your EIR journey and continue with the journey of life, remember to allow the "Fireworks" inside you to be ignited as "Lighters" in your life as you "Hit the Lights" to develop your best potential to achieve your dreams!.

Be the SALT and LIGHT to others and spread the good news of EIR by writing an inspirational message to the next batch of EIR students by signing the 1-minute autograph here.

Stay Positive & Happy Always!

Your Friend Always,

Ms Farida

EIR Subject Leader and Lecturer
