- Hit the Lights :

Dear awesome EIR DES TZ01 students, We have come to the end of our exciting EIR journey today. Actually the research excitement and new friendship have just begun. Throughout this short yet meaningful journey together, we have learnt so much about the Internet and issues related to our research findings affecting today's youths such as media influence, vlogging, narcicism and even sexting. Hey, you all made it! You all survived EIR despite your hectic workload in your respective Diplomas. Give yourself a pat on the back. Indeed, “what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger, stand a little bit taller” than when you first started just a month ago. You are now equipped with the necessary research skills to embark on your new journey in your respective Diplomas. Its so hard to say farewell so soon especially when we are just about to get to know one another better. I will miss all of you especially your jokes and laughters. Thank you for your warm friendship – the bonding we share will be cherished for a long time to come. Thank you also for all your enthusiastic and active class participation during the face-to-face discussions. I will fondly remember your smiles and laughter during our Stomp.com discussion and discussions on change.org. I truly appreciate your kind patience in faithfully completing the class activities, despite your other commitments in your personal and academic life. For the groups who have presented yesterday, thank you for sharing your research findings - you all have done a great job:). To the presenters today, I trust that you will do an equally epic-win presentation that will rock the house too. I have had a fantastic and joyful experience interacting and teaching all of you and learning from one another. Our friendship does not have to end with the closure of EIR DES TZ01 class today. We will meet up virtually on our EIR DPA Facebook page, Twitter, email and/or MSN. As a final close to our EIR 2012, I invite all of you to spend 1-minute of your time to autograph a meaningful and inspirational comment/remark about EIR in the comments column of this EIR blog. Remember to use what you had learnt in EIR when you are doing research for your other projects in your respective Diplomas. Please also give us your feedback on EIR via OLIVE. Till we meet again in other encounters, I wish you all the best in your future endeavours. As you end your EIR journey and begin your new journey in your respective Diploma courses, remember to allow the "Fireworks" inside you to be ignited as "Lighters" in your life as you "Hit the Lights" to develop your best potential while embarking on your research endeavours to rock the house!. Stay Positive & Happy Always! Ms Faridah EIR Subject Leader and Tutor 18 May 2012
