Welcome everyone! Its the beginning of a new semester Apr 2012. I look forward to this time of the year to welcome our awesome and enthusiastic EIR students. I am privildeged to be the Subject Leader for EIR this semester again. With each passing year, this opportunity has increasingly become more and more meaningful and interesting. This is made possible by the awesome support and warm friendship of the EIR family. Every semester is different as I re-design and enhance the curriculum to reflect the latest changes in Internet. Just like the endlessly changing and dynamic Internet world, EIR has to evolve to suit our students' needs. The year 2012 saw a marked change in our syllabus with the insertion of an exciting site visit cum education trip. This semester we have a complete facelift of our Wiki topics - we have introduced so many exciting topics for you to research on. There will also be more engaging discussions, debates and interactions in class. Check out the inspirational quotations from your senior EIR students who have experienced the joy of learning together with our warm EIR family. As we begin our EIR journey together, let us allow the "Fireworks" in each of us to be ignited as "Lighters" in our life as we "Hit the Lights" to develop our best potential while embarking on our awesome research endeavours to rock the house!
