Dear EIR DPA T01 students,
Today marks the end of our short but exciting EIR journey from 15-28 March 2012. Hey, you all made it! You survived EIR. Give yourself a pat on the back. I’m sure “what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger, stand a little bit taller” than when you first started. You are now equipped with the necessary research skills to embark on your new journey in your respective Diplomas. Its so hard to say farewell so soon especially when we are just about to get to know one another better.
Thank you for your warm friendship – the bonding we share will be cherished for a long time to come. Thank you also for all your enthusiastic and active class participation during the face-to-face discussions. I will fondly remember your engaging and exciting class debate on change.org. Your smiles and laughter during our Stomp.com discussion will stay in mind. I do appreciate your kind patience in faithfully completing the class activities, despite your other commitments in your personal and academic life.
I look forward to your Wiki presentation today. I trust that you will do an epic-win presentation that will rock the house.
I have had a fantastic and joyful experience interacting and teaching all of you and learning from one another.
Our friendship does not have to end with the closure of EIR DES T01 class today. We will meet up virtually on our EIR DPA Facebook page, Twitter and/or MSN.
As a final close to our EIR DPA 2012, I invite all of you to spend 1-minute of your time to autograph a meaningful & inspirational comment/remark about EIR in the comments column of this EIR blog. Remember to use what you had learnt in EIR when you are doing research for your other projects in your respective Diplomas.
Please also give us your feedback on EIR via this online survey
https://esurvey.tp.edu.sg/eSurvey/Web/Survey/SurveyDisplay.aspx?scode=DPAEIR12&grp=1
Till we meet again in other encounters, I wish you all the best in your future endeavours.
As you end your EIR journey and begin your new journey in your respective Diploma courses, remember to allow the "Fireworks" inside you to be ignited as "Lighters" in your life as you "Hit the Lights" to develop your best potential while embarking on your research endeavours to rock the house!.
Stay Awesomely Positive & Happy Always!
Cheers!

Welcome everyone!
I look forward to this time of the year to welcome our dearest DPA EIR students. I am truly priviledged to be given this wonderful opportunity to work with the amazing batch of DPA EIR students since 2008! With each passing year, this opportunity has increasingly become more and more meaningful and interesting. This is made possible by the awesome support and warm friendship of the EIR family. Our pioneer batch of DPA EIR students have since graduated and the guys are now serving the army. Some of them (eg Mr Kenneth Ham) are still in touch with us via Facebook.
Just like the endlessly changing and dynamic Internet world, EIR has to evolve to suit our students' needs. The year 2012 saw a marked change in our syllabus with the insertion of an exciting site visit cum education trip. There will also be more engaging discussions, debates and interactions in class. Check out the inspirational quotations from your senior EIR students who have experienced the joy of learning together with our warm EIR family.
With the beginning of our EIR journey together, I invite all of us to allow the "Fireworks" in each of us to be ignited as "Lighters" in our life as we "Hit the Lights" to develop our best potential while embarking on our awesome research endeavours to rock the house!
A warm welcome again to each one of you and Enjoy your exciting EIR journey!
